Headious. Reverse Gorgon.

This was an idea I came up with during my free time. What if instead of a human with snakes for hair, it was a snake with human heads for hair? I began by making a rough sketch of the head. Then I created the line art by drawing over the sketch on a new layer. Since gorgons are typically seen with a human top half and snake bottom half I decided to do the opposite. I designed the body to be snake like with human legs.

Looking back, I should have made the legs longer. They look like baby legs. When it came to the colour scheme there was a lot of iterations. The first palette had green for the body and flesh tone for the heads. I later removed the flesh colours and replace it with something more monstrous.
