My next job on the project was to design the hair for the Mistress. This was enjoyable at the start. Coming up with abstract hair designs was a lot of fun. However, They were too unrealistic for the style and tone of the game. Since the art style was based on the video game Life is Strange (2015) I went back to the drawing board to create hairstyles that were more conventional. The first 2 new design had a lot of detail put into them. I realised that the details were taking too much time, and that simpler shapes would be just as effective, if not better overall. So I designed 4 more hairstyles without texture in order to produce concept more efficiently.
